Sherlock Holmes detectives in Scotland
BECOME SHERLOCK HOLMES FOR A DAY
Description:
To 221B Princes Street,
Edinburgh
SCOTLAND

Get ready to become the great detective himself during an immersive day in Edinburgh.

Start your day by learning more about detective techniques and discover some of the cases which inspired Arthur Conan Doyle when creating Sherlock Holmes. During this 2h private guided tour, discover how real life shaped the character. Did you know for example that Sherlock's deductive process was based on medical innovations used in Edinburgh Surgeon's Hall?

Warm yourself in a restaurant mixing chemistry and good food. Have fun experimenting with foaming and bubbling cocktails/mocktails.
Post lunch: it is time to solve crimes yourself. Head for an underground prison, hidden underneath the cobbled streets of Edinburgh, for a murder mystery like no other.

In the brisk morning air of 1894, a strange sight greeted Reverend Callum: in front of St Giles Cathedral, laying on the heart of Scotland was a plaster head glued to the ground. At first, he dismissed it as just a prank, played by local boys. However, new strange heads have now appeared every single day for a week, and the latest one is covered in blood... Will you help the Reverend?
