Discover this impressive 11th century castle, lost in the country side. Enjoy discovering the secrets of the 15m well at the centre of the castle, its hidden trap doors, wide open gaming spaces with open beam ceiling, and fire place. This castle used to create the bows and arrows for the French army - climb to the top of the castle walls for a stunning view of the Scottish country side and nearby rivers, and watch-out for any approaching dragon or enemy!
The castle sleeps two in the gorgeous bedroom where Mary Stuart Queen of Scots lived and comes with a fully furnished kitchen for groups wanting to stay only the day. Up to 70+ people can game in the different rooms of the castle, and nearby hotels are available to accommodate large groups. We can create for you a bespoke experience including catering in the tapestry room with a full medieval banquet, exciting activities (see our catalogue below), and transportation from Edinburgh.

THE LAIRD'S HOME
Spend an unforgettable holiday in this 15th century castle, lost in the countryside, yet only 1 hour from Glasgow, and 2h from Edinburgh. Built as a wedding anniversary for Princess Mary, the eldest daughter of James II of Scotland, this haunted castle features antique furniture and a pit prison behind a flagstone trap door.
The Castle welcomes up to 14 guests and features 6 bedrooms with intricately hand carved four poster beds, linked by a beautiful stone staircase, and 3 bathroom. You will have full access to the castle's kitchen.
The castle is available for a 1 week rental which will give you plenty of time to discover Edinburgh, Glasgow, Loch Lomond, the Isle of Arran and many more beautiful Scottish landscapes.

THE DRUID'S DEN
Escape to a 500 years old castle hidden in nature, 2h from Glasgow. The castle used to be the home of John Carswell, the tutor of the 5th Earl of Argyll and was held by the Campbell Clan. Enjoy the loch by the Castle, go on a boat ride in a local fishing boat, visit the local standing stones and castles, and get ready to game in the large common room with painted beams.
The Castle welcomes up to 10 guests and features 2 double rooms and 3 ensuite kingsize rooms.

THE HIGHLAND FORT
Only 2h from Edinburgh and deep in the highlands, this castle is the perfect place to live your Outlander Laird dream. Built in 1560, you can see on the painted ceilings the story of how the Ogilvys of Airlie created the castle in 1560, then lost it during a devastating battle in 1640. The castle is ideally located by the Cairngorm National Park and you can easily enjoy between games scenic walks by the river or hikes in the park, or visit whisky distilleries or Balmoral Castle, the residence of the Queen.
The Castle welcomes up to 12 guests and features 6 rooms with doubles. The Laird's bedroom even has its own turret.

PRIVATE ESCAPADE OR WEDDING IN A CASTLE 30mn FROM EDINBURGH
THE LUXURY CITADEL
Only 12 miles from Edinburgh, relax in a hidden world of luxury and exquisite opulence. In the Grand Hall, join an extravagant medieval buffet with delicious carved roasts and local drinks. In this 15th century keep, you will live history. Built in 1430 by the earl of Borthwick, the castle was Mary Queen of Scots' refuge in 1567 after she fled Holyrood. In 1650, Oliver Cromwell attacked it, and you can still see where his canons hit the outer walls. Now it stands as an iconic citadel, fit to welcome new Lords for a night or a week escapade.
